MOUNTAIN STORM was a favorite of Mary’s in the selected seedling area. Have
lived in the Colorado mountains for twelve years we saw some really dark storm
clouds, some were beautiful. MOUNTAIN STORM catches those colors well.
MOUNTAIN STORM starts blooming for us just a little past mid-season and is
usually still blooming as the other daylilies are starting to finish up. The dark
purple color holds well here in full sun. The oversized bright yellow eye is a
wonderful contrast to the dark purple and seems to draw your eye in for a closer
look.
