(KEAST M&T 2026)
28″,Tet,8″,Dor,M,Re
Burnt crimson red with an extremely toothy, gold edge on both the petals and sepals. Bright gold throat.
Crimson Shark’s bright red, 8″” blooms are a highlight in the mid season and beyond with rebloom here in SW Iowa. The crimson red color holds up even in full sun. The bright gold throat is a standout.
Extraordinary for the extremely toothy gold edge on both the petals and sepals. We tell everyone, PAPIO SHELLI MAE offspring consistently have teeth on sepals for us.
Wish my good friend, Dave Hansen, was here to see what came from his PAPIO SHELLI MAE as a parent. His favorite daylilies were good reds with teeth. CRIMSON SHARK definitely fits that description.
