STORMY MORNING is one of Mary’s favorite daylilies, in fact she had me reserve the name after seeing the first bloom.
STORMY MORNING is a dark burgundy with shades of purple. It has a gold and white edge with plenty of hooks and horns. Both the petals and sepals have the gold and white toothy edge. The teeth go deep into the bright green throat.
STORMY MORNING has been very popular in the seedling bed especially when it was reblooming late in the season. Another good garden plant and is also dormant.
